TIP: Provided/required interface "lollipops and forks" in IBDs are now directly supported in MD SysML 15.5. Use the Display Required Interfaces and Display Provided Interfaces context menu items from a Port in an IBD.


I don't recommend that you name the Connectors to indicate the names of the connected elements in the way shown in the spec sample. If one changes the name of a connected part then one also has to change the names of (possibly many) connectors, thus reducing the degree of model-driven engineering and increasing error-prone manual maintenance. It also makes the diagrams more cluttered.
