HOWTO use MD SysML power features for properties in IBDs
You can drag a Property from within a Block in the model browser onto the diagram area of a framed IBD to create the symbol for that Property in the IBD:

it does not create a new Property, just the Property's symbol !
- this also works with nested properties in higher level IBDs
You can thus create any number of IBDs (for various views of a system) reusing existing Property definitions with complete validation.
You can re-create all existing part property symbols (and Connector symbols) for an entire Block:
- this is particularly useful when inheriting structure
- the geometry will however be different from your original structure diagram
- if your connections are between ports you will have to use "display ports" on all parts before the Connectors will be shown.
